Ladybugs11 used their skill at pressing to cut off the attack angles of their opponents all over the field. Blacksquid mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. After 3 minutes Ladybugs11 tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, T. Sherman's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. D. Sprague of Blacksquid was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 13 minutes in, Blacksquid appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. Blacksquid players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. With the clock showing 31 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Blacksquid resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by I. Fields in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. 33 minutes into the game, Blacksquid seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to poor. M. Bobo delivered a good free kick from an excellent position 35 minutes into the game, but luck wasn't on Blacksquid's side this time and the ball went wide. 36 minutes into the game, Blacksquid seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a poor level of organisation. Halftime score was 0 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Blacksquid, with 52 percent of the ball.

During the break, Blacksquid's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to passable organisation. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 62 minutes into the match, and J. Prater wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. 67 minutes into the game, Ladybugs11 had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from M. Bobo after 75 minutes, and prevented Blacksquid from going up another goal. It might be a while before the fans see Blacksquid's I. Fields again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 78 minute mark. He was replaced by A. Pedersen. W. Mendoza was the new captain of Blacksquid - handed the armband by the departing player. 80 minutes were showing on the scoreboard when Blacksquid's D. Sprague received his second yellow card and was sent off. In a fantastic display of determination, Ladybugs11's C. Cruz forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. 83 minutes in, Blacksquid appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. After 85 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Blacksquid found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. The visitors almost increased their lead after 86 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. After 88 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave L. Tobón a chance to increase the lead for Blacksquid, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. A well placed corner kick from A. Zviedrs was followed by G. Pica's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Ladybugs11, the score now 1 - 2. 89 minutes in, Blacksquid's C. Robinson received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 89 minutes, Blacksquid did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, C. Robinson was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 3. Blacksquid had most of the ball, with 71 percent of possession.

Most important Ladybugs11 player was N. Michell. L. Mora was a disappointment, however. Blacksquid's best player was A. Pedersen. L. Tobón turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
