Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and REAL COLONES saw a crowd turnout of 37056. Pavlos Mpelonis was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Marinus Danielsen and Nathanael Goldschneider. ESTEA decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. ROROS started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Leders - Umaña, Åkesson, Tibaduiza, Zerboni - Arnaudin, Tecco, Mazzora, Carmena - Toro, Salvo.

ESTEA took the lead 7 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as Á. Arévalo elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. E. Dueñas squirmed through their central defence after 7 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of ESTEA to 3 - 0 as Q. González Asarta finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Confident in their lead, ESTEA's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. With 12 minutes played, G. Rada could have brought this one home for ESTEA as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. 13 minutes into the match ESTEA's G. Rada viciously shoved another player from behind while going for a loose ball and was sent off the pitch with a red card. Á. Tibaduiza of ROROS had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. M. Bieze came in to finish the match. ESTEA's A. Insignares was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 18 minutes. After 22 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by M. Brown might have resulted in another goal for ESTEA. However, B. Leders made a spectacular save. ROROS almost scored after a counterattack 23 minutes into the match, but R. Umaña took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. The crowd roared its approval when S. Vizcaíno somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by ROROS's H. Zerboni 29 minutes into the game. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. ESTEA had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

Q. González Asarta struck a 30 metre free kick home 47 minutes into the match. 4 - 0 for the home team. A. Insignares should probably have put his team up another goal after 49 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by B. Leders kept the visitors in the game. ROROS had a fair chance to reply after 63 minutes due to some fine moves down the left, but in the end D. Arnaudin was slow to keep up with the play and was unable to make it into the penalty box to apply a finish. ESTEA's T. Escrucería saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 65 minutes. A. Insignares increased the lead for ESTEA to 5 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! A. Insignares had a fantastic opportunity to put ESTEA up another goal 69 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. ESTEA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Á. Arévalo performed admirably for ESTEA. On the other hand, M. Brown's play was disheartening. ROROS's top performer was clearly G. Tecco. M. Bieze was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
