Morale on the visitors' bench was greatly improved when their J. Ehritt reduced the lead to make it 3 - 1 after 62 minutes, following a pass from the right. The Scorpions players could smell victory in the air. T. Sušickis wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for S. Martin after 65 minutes. Scorpions's A. Maggioni was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 66 minutes. After 68 minutes, Scorpions's A. Caforio fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! In the lead, Scorpions adjusted their style of play with 70 minutes gone. Cheers filled the stadium as A. Caforio broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 1 to Scorpions. M. Drăghescu wanted to play on, but the Scorpions coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 75 minutes into the game by T. Gelso. Scorpions put themselves up 5 - 1 when S. Caccavalle broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. After this, you could see that the players of Scorpions were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 79 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as A. Seraggiotto broke through, making the score 6 - 1 for Scorpions. Scorpions claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.
