Clouds darkened the skies at CURRITO´S PALACE as 1483 spectators turned up for the match. Zé Caires was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alan Kaasik and Erwin Olsman. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 12 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but B. de Castro got the best of it, blocking the shot from C. Olivier. After 25 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and M. Sáenz Rodríguez gave the Curritos supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. With 25 minutes played, C. Pérez of Curritos fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Curritos mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 29 minutes, but P. Casas was unable to convert from short range. Halftime score was 2 - 0. ASMonaco03 had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

With 57 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, ASMonaco03 showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 2 - 1 when N. Hédouin got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. P. Vieilledent of ASMonaco03 was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. ASMonaco03's V. Gautier had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 70 minutes having been played. G. Predtečenskis was the replacement. The corner kick from J. Lucas was powerfully met by the head of P. Vieilledent to make the score 2 - 2. P. Vieilledent of ASMonaco03 got sent off for kicking the ball after the whistle, a completely uncalled for move, earning him his second yellow card of the game. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Curritos, with 51 percent of the ball.

Curritos's best player was T. Santoro. F. Silva Palafox was a disappointment, however. Most important ASMonaco03 player was V. Kampuš. D. Gosselin on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 2.
