The home crowd was dismayed when the referee called a penalty for Olympique after 42 minutes. J. Lécluse calmly took the shot and scored. The game was level at 1 - 1. H. Bertomeu. After 72 minutes, J. Lécluse sent the corner kick right to B. Leurent who headed it sharply past the keeper. 5 - 2! After 73 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and M. Zens gave the Atlético supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 6 - 2.
