The 35183 spectators at Lograto F.C. Arena were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Damiaan Van Rode was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Maxime Robert and Hamdi Çolpan. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Lograto. Saponato clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why E. Balili found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. Saponato were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. 28 minutes into the game, K. Deray almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Lograto mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 29 minutes, but A. Torluccio was unable to convert from short range. Saponato took the lead after 30 minutes making the score 0 - 1. K. Deray placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. A well placed corner kick from D. Arendorff was followed by 蔡. 德耀 (Deyao)'s hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Saponato, the score now 0 - 2. With the scoreboard showing that 32 minutes had been played, Saponato nearly put themselves up another goal after M. Anello came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. With 35 minutes played, Saponato's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to 蔡. 德耀 (Deyao) he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 3. 36 minutes in, Saponato's C. Malagoli received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 38 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for C. Malagoli who increased Saponato's lead to 0 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Saponato lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. It was 0 - 4 at the break. 蔡. 德耀 (Deyao) came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over E. Ramis but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. After 58 minutes, the defensive line of Lograto created a counterattack through the middle that gave F. Zanchin a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. The visitors' H. Siemens took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 63 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for Saponato. With 80 minutes played, H. Siemens nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. The home crowd cheered when, after 81 minutes, S. Manchev's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Good work by the Lograto defensive line after 82 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found S. Gontarczyk alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Saponato, with 84 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Lograto player was without a doubt E. Ferrer. On the other hand, A. Torluccio's play was disheartening. Most important Saponato player was 蔡. 德耀 (Deyao). S. Frasso turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
