previous 8/10 next 10/10  reds 1 - 3 Dragon (392603256)

Clouds darkened the skies at Anfield road as 27110 spectators turned up for the match. Helmi Mettler was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Niclas Møller and Meriç Çağrı Akbal. A 4-5-1 alignment was the formation of choice for reds. They fielded: de Ocón - Takavainio, Isvoranu, Puig, Ulisses - Le Dorze, Carlacchiani, Björnsen, Beuzer, Veille - Gaens.

Dragon started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Fidluš - Soós, Prokeš, Budiaš - Kocaj, Mirovský, Tulipán, Gáborík - Fencák, Smoleňák, Kušnirák.

Dragon were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. The referee showed reds's S. Puig the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Dragon took the lead after 9 minutes making the score 0 - 1. E. Mirovský placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. After 20 minutes of play, A. Beuzer equalised for reds after an elegant attack from the right. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Dragon's T. Budiaš after 25 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 1 - 2 lead. 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Dragon, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

reds's V. Ulisses made an attempt at equalising 75 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. 76 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 3 as S. Prokeš finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. The home side worked hard to get through the middle and as a result, had a good chance of getting one back as W. Gaens tried lifting the ball over keeper Š. Fidluš. Unfortunately, the ball went just over the bar. 78 minutes into the game, T. Budiaš had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came D. Bahna. Dragon claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

reds's top performer was clearly W. Gaens. However, M. Carlacchiani made a disastrous appearance. Dragon's best player was Š. Fidluš. D. Fencák on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 3.
