Pressing was the tactic of the day for Red. A.c.Mamoni took a creative approach on the field. Making his way up the middle 3 minutes into the match, R. Giuffrida almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert C. Pierri blocked it to keep the score level. Red fans held their breath as M. Gerosa scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Red to 2 - 0 as C. De Vitis finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Red's J. Metz was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 12 minutes. With 15 minutes played, Red put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. Gerosa, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Red's M. Gerosa was shown a yellow card after 20 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 22 minutes, M. Gerosa put Red ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. At that, M. Gerosa was noted down for a hat trick! At this point, it was obvious that the players of Red lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Red, with 73 percent of the ball.

After 47 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and R. Giuffrida gave the Red supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 5 - 0. The Red players could smell victory in the air. C. Possanzini wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for D. Castronovo after 56 minutes. The coach of Red was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 61 minutes, G. Gaias came on for J. Metz. A wonderful trick by C. Liasidis that left L. Pena Soares bewildered really deserved to end in a goal but the keeper made a fine save. Coming from the right, D. Castronovo almost managed to score another goal for Red, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. Against a lesser team, Red could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 66 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. C. De Vitis wanted to play on, but the Red coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 69 minutes into the game by F. Bizzozero. Red's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle. 71 minutes in, A.c.Mamoni's E. Angeloni received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The pressing tactics used by Red were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. Red enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 76 percent of possession.

Red's best player was F. Bizzozero. L. Pena Soares was a disappointment, however. V. Corona performed admirably for A.c.Mamoni. C. Liasidis on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 0.
