The Wilstermann fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After this, you could see that the players of Wilstermann were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. The referee showed Oriente's D. Tito the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Oriente's E. Colque had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 38 minutes having been played. A. Condori was the replacement. 40 minutes into the match, G. Schimon came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Wilstermann, with 73 percent of the ball.

Given a free kick in a difficult position after 69 minutes, Wilstermann tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from 韩. 兴祥 (Xingxiang) after 86 minutes, and prevented Wilstermann from going up another goal. Wilstermann claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 77 percent.

Oriente's top performer was clearly D. Tito. On the other hand, P. Zambrana's play was disheartening. Most important Wilstermann player was G. Schimon. L. Patiño was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 7.
