Due to an all-day shower, 26879 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Sehonnai Bitang Aréna. Vass scored for Műveletlen putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 16 minutes. 22 minutes in, Műveletlen's V. Ariosto received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. D. Bornemissza sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from I. Blaskovics after 25 minutes of play, making the score 2 - 0. C. Garau didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. Műveletlen were given a gift! At this point, it was obvious that the players of Műveletlen lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The referee showed Geri/Star's A. Águas the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. D. Bornemissza of Műveletlen had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. P. Várhidi came in to finish the match. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like S. Akstinas. Geri/Star's C. Garau was shown a yellow card after 44 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Műveletlen, with 54 percent of the ball.

The Műveletlen coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 46 minutes into the game. A penalty 50 minutes into the game gave the home side a chance at adding to the score, but an overconfident I. Blaskovics shot the ball wide trying to put it away in the top corner.
