A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from J. Tejada Porras after 24 minutes, and prevented Xelcius from going up another goal. After 38 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave E. Biesterveld a chance to increase the lead for Xelcius, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Xelcius enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.

After 47 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed 董. 柏耀 (Boyao) to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. Xelcius's G. Novak was shown a yellow card after 70 minutes for slicing down an opponent. With 74 minutes played, G. Novak nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. G. Novak came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over S. Beekmans but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Xelcius coach let A. Colini replace R. Paez after 80 minutes. With 83 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed 董. 柏耀 (Boyao) of Xelcius to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 5. G. Giambi of koekies received a yellow card after 84 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Xelcius, with 66 percent of the ball.
