Peponas received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 24 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Kościan fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like W. Zawierta. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 32 minutes, Kościan did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, A. Garcês was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 4. After this, you could see that the players of Kościan were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, B. Berran would have put Kościan up another goal 39 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. After 40 minutes, Dobrowo surprised their opponents with a breakaway counter attack. The defenders had to resort to a foul to stop it. The free kick that followed was a clever indirect effort that almost succeeded, but the defence read the situation well and the intended recipient was left ruing what might have been. Dobrowo's K. Mayerhofer had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 41 minutes having been played. D. van Oosterhout was the replacement. 0 - 4 was the halftime score. Kościan claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.

Good work by the Dobrowo defensive line after 71 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found M. Pasha alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. S. Aravena wanted to play on, but the Kościan coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 77 minutes into the game by L. Őry. Possession in this half belonged to Kościan, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

The most dominating Dobrowo player was without a doubt 巴. 俊海 (Junhai). A. Ryttäri turned in a dismal performance, however. Kościan's top performer was clearly T. Peponas. However, C. Eschler made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 4.
