Knut-Elvan had a brilliant opportunity to reply as L. Chan Wai received a high ball from the right, striking the ball in the air. Only K. Struthers's reflexes saved him. With 78 minutes played, W. Kronbratt was very close to reducing the score for Knut-Elvan with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. 82 minutes in, NyFF's A. Kalmes received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Knut-Elvan, as N. Vorre left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. K. Palmhall took his place on the field. The visitors' M. Rantanen took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 85 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for NyFF. At this point, it was obvious that the players of NyFF lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. A penalty was awarded after 87 minutes, and G. Lucet made the most of his chance to put NyFF up by another goal. 0 - 5 for the visitors. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by NyFF, with 65 percent of the ball.

Knut-Elvan's best player was V. De la Sotta. However, K. Palmhall made a disastrous appearance. Most important NyFF player was L. Rosgren. On the other hand, P. Kullenborg's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 5.
