12250 spectators had come to Los Integros Arena F.C. this cloudy day. Eldin Pecelj was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Carlos Gonçalves and Tue Mogensen. Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this Metropolitana derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents. Integros started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Lineup: Vizioli - Norér, De la Cuadra, Chamorro, Maggi - Alvarado, Weinstein, Salas, Paetz - Skibiński, Romero Olmedo.

Malkmus decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. Starters: Teruel - Juvani, Pimenta, Tähkänen - Adriazola, Innanen, Nilsen, Wedel - Ríos, Delzo, Vidal.

Malkmus's V. Adriazola could have put the guests one up after 22 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but A. Vizioli was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. Integros's H. Weinstein was shown a yellow card after 25 minutes for slicing down an opponent. With 35 minutes played, Malkmus's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to R. Pimenta he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 1. After 40 minutes, Malkmus's F. Wedel burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. Integros's E. Alvarado got himself booked for a foul. A marvellous Integros effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 42 minutes by G. De la Cuadra, making the score 1 - 2. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. Malkmus had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

Integros needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 55 minutes E. Alvarado made way for J. Hortezuelo. After 56 minutes of play, M. Skibiński evened things up for Integros with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 2 - 2. After 60 minutes, the Malkmus coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving E. Nilsen off the field. J. Uylenbroek took his place. 60 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Integros substitution. P. Mojžiš came on for F. Romero Olmedo. K. Norér became the new Integros captain. As the 65 minute mark approached, the Malkmus coach decided it was time for a substitution. G. Delzo reluctantly made way for J. Laguillo Fernandez on the pitch. The home side put themselves ahead 3 - 2 after 70 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from M. Skibiński, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as Malkmus's I. Innanen put the ball in the onion bag after 71 minutes to make it 3 - 3. 75 minutes into the game, Malkmus wanted to bring some new energy to their game. V. Adriazola gave R. García a quick hug as he left the field. When V. Juvani was badly injured by a couple of strong tackles after 84 minutes, Malkmus fans were unhappy to discover that it was not possible to make a substitution. Integros fans held their breath as S. Maggi scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 4 - 3! Things were deteriorating for the away team as Integros scored another to make it 5 - 3 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for K. Norér after 86 minutes. A. Vizioli wanted to play on, but the Integros coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 86 minutes into the game by A. Pârvan. Integros's P. Mojžiš saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 88 minutes. Coming in on the left, A. Ríos did everything right to get a goal for Malkmus after 89 minutes, but his finishing shot was stabbed clear by the keeper. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Malkmus, with 56 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Integros player was without a doubt M. Skibiński. J. Hortezuelo was a disappointment, however. Most important Malkmus player was A. Ríos. However, R. García made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 3.
