After 10 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Atra-K-laos found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. Decanos pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times. 38 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as R. Rufin finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Confident in their lead, Decanos's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

A review of the gameplan helped Atra-K-laos get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. After 46 minutes, the Decanos players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game. The corner kick from J. Cuixart was powerfully met by the head of M. Tandrup was able to backheel the ball in. 2 - 3. 69 minutes into the game, Atra-K-laos had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. The referee showed Atra-K-laos's S. Olego the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. J. Cuixart of Decanos had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. C. Mexía came in to finish the match. Decanos's A. Avilés got himself booked for a foul. Possession in this half belonged to Atra-K-laos, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

Most important Atra-K-laos player was G. Kiefer. However, P. Voinescu made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Decanos player was without a doubt J. Castellano. C. Mexía turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 3.
