The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 784 had shown up at Pe Lună for the match. Leonard Buil was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kalervo Surakka and Abner Echaburu. Ohaba decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Döbeli - Iriarte, Andrade Santos, Saksager - Plünnen, Ludikov, Strama, Hodel, Villemsaar - Moccia, Mayol.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for OSCV. The following players had been chosen: Haan - Pecheanu, Sava, Topp - Carabela, Hausman, de Meijer, Varivoda, Bolden - Sándor, Călinescu.

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of OSCV. A. Strama of Ohaba was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. After 14 minutes, OSCV put themselves up 0 - 1, as K. Hausman finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. 17 minutes in, and Ohaba were able to score the equalising goal to make it 1 - 1 when A. Strama picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper. 18 minutes into the game, Ohaba seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a solid level of organisation. Ohaba broke through on the left 26 minutes into the game, with A. Mayol firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 2 - 1 lead. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. Ohaba enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Ohaba was able to get his message across, and raised Ohaba's organisation to solid. N. Saksager showed his inexperience when he failed to anticipate the bounce of a high ball, allowing OSCV's A. Călinescu to take advantage and place a shot into the bottom corner of the goal. 2 - 2. A. Călinescu's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 62 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to O. Sándor who knocked it in for OSCV. 2 - 3! V. Ludikov behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 66 minutes as he gave the ball away to K. Hausman. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. With 72 minutes having been played, Ohaba scored to make it 3 - 3. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but A. Mayol was marked down as the scorer. A. Mayol could have put Ohaba into the lead after 81 minutes, but the free kick went just wide. A. Varivoda had a good try after 82 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. After 84 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as OSCV found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. 86 minutes into the game, Ohaba had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. Ohaba's D. Hodel tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 88 minutes in, OSCV appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only poor. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Ohaba, with 64 percent of the ball.

Ohaba's best player was A. Mayol. However, N. Saksager made a disastrous appearance. A. Călinescu performed admirably for OSCV. R. Pecheanu was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 3.
