Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Flatulentia. The head of D. Galvan connected with a corner kick after 9 minutes, and the ball ended up with A. Bange of Pickwick who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 0 - 1. Just a few inches to the right, and the visitors could have had a goal 38 minutes into the match. A. Geerolf surely wishes he could do that free kick over again. 39 minutes into the game, Flatulentia had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. C. Scazzoso behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 40 minutes as he gave the ball away to D. Galvan. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. After 42 minutes Flatulentia tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, B. Bołtuć's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. Flatulentia mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 44 minutes, but G. Saponetta was unable to convert from short range. Flatulentia's counterattacks created a good chance for B. Bołtuć on the right after 44 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Pickwick claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 67 percent.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Flatulentia had solid organisation. The coach of Pickwick was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, O. Bălosu came on for A. Silberschneider. F. Fernández Hinestrosa wanted to play on, but the Pickwick coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by J. Haugen. Flatulentia needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 55 minutes C. Piţigoi made way for A. Mitrofanov. Maybe due to the uphill battle the team was facing, the Flatulentia manager looked to change things around. After 58 minutes, C. Vanni and B. Bołtuć swapped positions on the field. After 62 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Flatulentia found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to wretched. J. Picaso got a fingertip on G. De Milato's shot from the left 77 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. G. De Milato of Pickwick took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 79 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. A. Bange received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 83 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Pickwick fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, D. Galvan got himself booked. The manager of Pickwick was not happy. With 88 minutes played, Pickwick put themselves up 0 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was G. De Milato. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Pickwick lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Possession in this half belonged to Pickwick, who controlled the ball 75 percent of the time.

Flatulentia's top performer was clearly A. Falgares. A. Sambogna turned in a dismal performance, however. A. Geerolf performed admirably for Pickwick. On the other hand, J. Haugen's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 4.
