Clear skies welcomed the 1514 spectators who had made their way to Feldschlösschen Litchi Arena. Francesco Debenedetti was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mauno Erkkilä and Wilson Tupa. A 5-3-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Clochards. Lineup: Livingstone - Krzeczowski, Janić, Norðvík, Scava, Abel - Jakobsen, Áibar Marca, Arigò - Brauchle, Mingler.

Superfigu tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Pretel Marín - Delgado, Appia, de Sevilla - Tasso, Nevasalo, Banjević, García de Luera, Pérez García - Lavena, Batalla.

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Clochards. 0 - 1 was the score with 25 minutes played, after G. Lavena cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Superfigu. It might be a while before the fans see Clochards's P. Arigò again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 26 minute mark. He was replaced by M. Careddu. R. Livingstone was handed the Clochards captain's armband. When J. Janić left the game because of a back injury after 28 minutes, Clochards had to continue a man short due to there being no available replacements. After 35 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for R. Pérez García who increased Superfigu's lead to 0 - 2. After 37 minutes, Superfigu raised their score by one when C. Tasso's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by G. Lavena. 0 - 3. Confident in their lead, Superfigu's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. With 41 minutes played, Superfigu put themselves up 0 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was M. García de Luera. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Superfigu, with 72 percent of the ball.

Ó. Batalla left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Y. Oulkhir was the replacement. B. Appia was the new captain of Superfigu - handed the armband by the departing player. Z. Banjević wanted to play on, but the Superfigu coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by I. Persson. The Superfigu players could smell victory in the air. C. Tasso wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for A. Reina after 46 minutes. After 53 minutes Clochards tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, K. Mingler's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. Superfigu came close to extending their lead as J. de Sevilla delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 54 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. With 56 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed A. Reina of Superfigu to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 5. Given a free kick close to the byline, Superfigu tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let J. de Sevilla slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 6, 71 minutes into the game. Superfigu enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.

Clochards's top performer was clearly K. Mingler. M. Careddu on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Superfigu player was R. Pérez García. J. Nevasalo turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 6.
