Dancon 1 - 3 Halunken
(392745565)

27-06-2012 16.30
It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 1447 that came out to
Dancon Arena.
Evert-Jan van Toor was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Tor Måseide and
Giuseppe Cupitò.
Dancon decided to use a 2-5-3 set up.
Starters: Marques Ribeiro - Skytte, D'Anna - Mostaccio, Kropf, Anber, Lisowski, Lorentzen - Larsen, Stangeland, Santirocchi.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Halunken.
They fielded: Nathusius - Pummer, Hertner, Judt - Keckeis, Kuester, Goestl, Miličević, Gudian - Suutje, van Riesen.
C. Mostaccio caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 5 minutes. This gave Dancon the 1 - 0 lead.
It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why
Ç. Anber found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork.
After 30 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 1 - 1 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by
R. Goestl.
Halunken had to make a substitution after 36 minutes.
S. van Riesen limped off the field and was replaced by
H. Jaspers.
The visiting
G. Pummer was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 38 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 1 - 2 was the score.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Dancon, with 53 percent of the ball.
On any other day,
F. D'Anna's free kick would have found the back of the net to tie the game for Dancon, but not today - the visitors' keeper displayed extraordinary reflexes as he blocked the shot harmlessly to the side.
Dancon's
K. Skytte had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 66 minutes having been played.
R. Eriksson was the replacement.
With 79 minutes played,
H. Jaspers nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar.
The visitors'
H. Jaspers took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 80 minutes into the match. 1 - 3 for Halunken.
Dancon had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.
Dancon's top performer was clearly
J. Kropf.
A. Larsen was a disappointment, however.
Halunken's best player was
H. Jaspers.
On the other hand,
G. Pummer's play was disheartening.
The match ends 1 - 3.
