Clouds darkened the skies at stadio della gloria as 2053 spectators turned up for the match. After 41 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by Termitana on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by H. Mohd Fadlan to make it 2 - 1. The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 42 minutes, N. Giroud broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. E. Newbury made a great block, though. It was 2 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Lazio, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.

The referee showed Termitana's H. Mohd Fadlan the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 64 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but when J. Kielian tried to finish the attack, he couldn't deliver the shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper. G. De Stefani came close to levelling the score 77 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. Lazio claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 68 percent.

Termitana's top performer was clearly T. de Ruijter. However, E. Newbury made a disastrous appearance. A. Niedziołka performed admirably for Lazio. M. Kasperkiewicz turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
