Läfventorp ought to have been awarded a penalty 33 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around G. Bielicki after a determined run through the middle. The corner kick from B. Miton was powerfully met by the head of T. de Winkel to make the score 1 - 2. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. fighters claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

fighters tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play.
