Heintze came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of F. Cicco. Assoult's W. Möckel was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 39 minutes. L. Usvardi was called on to replace Assoult's W. Möckel after 40 minutes following a nasty collision. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Assoult had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Usually a powerful player on the field, R. Giuggiolini looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. They were singing the praises of L. Vázquez 52 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 2 - 1 to Assoult. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Assoult scored another to make it 3 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Z. García after 55 minutes. Assoult put in a good effort on the right, but L. Vázquez saw his volley fly wide of the mark 61 minutes into the game. After 71 minutes, O. Lokken sent the corner kick right to M. Carminati who headed it sharply past the keeper. 3 - 2! P. van de Ven of Ultimate received a yellow card after 72 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. L. Firmino's curling free kick almost found the goal for Assoult, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. With 78 minutes gone, Ultimate's P. van de Ven had to leave the pitch after talking back to the referee and receiving his second booking. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Assoult, with 67 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Assoult player was without a doubt L. Usvardi. L. Firmino turned in a dismal performance, however. Ultimate's top performer was clearly M. Carminati. However, P. Nucera made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 2.
