After 47 minutes, Spetsnaz sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached E. Gaetano again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 51 minute mark. He was replaced by S. Vadi. With 54 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, M. Porta needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. With 73 minutes having been played, sangiovanni scored to make it 1 - 1. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but M. Porta was marked down as the scorer. M. Plaar of Spetsnaz seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 2 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by R. Busonero. sangiovanni enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

The most dominating sangiovanni player was without a doubt R. Boffi. N. Ruggiero turned in a dismal performance, however. Spetsnaz's top performer was clearly R. Sarno. On the other hand, E. Pulleiro's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 2.
