The crowd of 716 turning up at Chatosberg today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Vincenzo Ardistio was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Thorsten Zausin and Giancarlo van der Sluijs. Chatosland tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players took the field: Tödtling - Hegedüs, Bordignon, Willhoeft - Bøgild, Marinich, Vejrosta, Thiede, Eckmann - Tasayco, Martinsson.

A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Molars. Starters: Nardini - Serio, Vallome - Evangelisti, Tesi, Maggiani, Turnbull, Forte - Briñas, Mattesini, Valli.

Molars demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when L. Mattesini slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against R. Tödtling, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. Molars's D. Briñas gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 11 minutes with a superb strike from the right. The cannonball from 35 metres by B. Hegedüs of Chatosland was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. Molars's P. Vallome was shown a yellow card after 25 minutes for slicing down an opponent. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from H. Turnbull after 28 minutes, and prevented Molars from going up another goal. 35 minutes into the game, D. Briñas had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came A. Lea. The referee showed Molars's H. Turnbull the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit P. Vallome just fine. Chatosland were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 41 minutes, N. Martinsson swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 1 - 1. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Chatosland enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

There was concern in the stands when, at the 55 minute mark, Molars's C. Nardini hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Z. Eckmann of Chatosland received a yellow card after 72 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With 80 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. P. Vallome put the ball away for 1 - 2. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, H. Thiede got himself booked. The manager of Chatosland was not happy. Due to some great work on the right wing Chatosland's N. Martinsson was able to even the score after 85 minutes to make the score 2 - 2. R. Tödtling looked great 87 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' A. Lea. 88 minutes into the game, A. Valli almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Chatosland, with 51 percent of the ball.

Chatosland's best player was G. Tasayco. J. Willhoeft turned in a dismal performance, however. Molars's top performer was clearly P. Forte. However, H. Turnbull made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 2.
