28000 punters turned up at Old Ventoso Trafford, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Juan Carlos Codes was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Arnaud Vignal and Gilberto Carneiro. Ventoso decided to use a 5-3-2 set up. After 7 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed R. Poliščiukas to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave R. Lo Iacono from Ventoso a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 8 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Piallaenne's A. Montaiuti made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 16 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. The home crowd was not impressed when A. Montaiuti came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 26 minutes. Piallaenne were now up 0 - 3. By now, the players in Piallaenne felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 35 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 4 as G. Magro finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. After 36 minutes of game time, G. Marotta had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but G. Moscatello was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. After 38 minutes, Piallaenne's J. Głaz burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 5. 0 - 5 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Piallaenne, who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.

V. Pilguy left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. P. Uthasing was the replacement. After 58 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave M. Pende a chance to increase the lead for Piallaenne, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 6. After 59 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for A. Montaiuti who increased Piallaenne's lead to 0 - 7. When R. Lo Iacono made yet another studs-first tackle after 78 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the Ventoso player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. After 79 minutes, R. Ruud sent the corner kick right to G. Magro who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 8! The visitors' R. Poliščiukas took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 80 minutes into the match. 0 - 9 for Piallaenne. This third goal completed a hattrick for R. Poliščiukas. The referee showed Ventoso's N. Pollicino the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Piallaenne were forced into a substitution as M. Pražský couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing R. Jaala to come in off the bench. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Piallaenne, with 76 percent of the ball.

Ventoso's top performer was clearly E. Jurak. N. Pollicino on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Piallaenne player was without a doubt A. Montaiuti. However, P. Uthasing made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 9.
