Dark skies made the crowd of 37031 at Stadio "Augusto Daolio & Dante Pergreffi" a little nervous, but the rain held off. Bora Elit was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Norbert Benkő and Kuba Rajzer. Nomadi started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. CSKH decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Dugay - Bezruč, Heilesen, Samphan - Doolaeghe, Quaranta, Cerna, Iswanto, Aziz - Feighofen, Maddaloni.

The crowd gasped as G. Runfolo of Nomadi was flattened by an opponent after 5 minutes and had to be carried off. J. López came in off the bench. R. Aziz's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert F. Feighofen was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for CSKH. 0 - 1. No matter how hard he tried, R. Chylewski just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 29 minutes. A drive down the left side allowed F. Feighofen to get in close and score another goal for CSKH after 32 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2. The visitors' F. Feighofen took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 38 minutes into the match. 0 - 3 for CSKH. At that, F. Feighofen was noted down for a hat trick! With 43 minutes played, R. Aziz nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. O. Incerpi was called on to replace Nomadi's M. Abarzuza after 43 minutes following a nasty collision. 0 - 3 was the score after the first half. Nomadi had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

51 minutes into the game Nomadi broke through on the left wing and P. Kubiczek managed to reduce the lead to 1 - 3. The local team's free kick specialist R. Chylewski, reduced the away team's lead to 2 - 3 with a humdinger of a shot after 55 minutes. R. Chylewski could have scored for Nomadi with his free kick after 63 minutes, but the visitors' keeper just managed to get a hand on it. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave S. Cerna from CSKH a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 65 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Nomadi's F. Casucci made an attempt at equalising 66 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. A handball in the penalty area gave the home team a penalty 79 minutes into the match, and R. Chylewski was able to score, taking the scoreline to 3 - 3. Nomadi enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

After the regular 90 minutes, the agony of extra time followed. After a fine move down the middle O. Incerpi nearly gave the home side a goal after 95 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. 3 - 4 was the score with 98 minutes played, after F. Feighofen cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for CSKH. This put an end to extra time, making CSKH the winners. P. Kubiczek performed admirably for Nomadi. However, O. Incerpi made a disastrous appearance. CSKH's top performer was clearly C. Maddaloni. R. Aziz turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 4.
