(392820737)

03-07-2012 19.30
Dark skies made the crowd of 22250 at
Najlonke a little nervous, but the rain held off.
Ovidiu Muresan was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jur Dubbeldam and
Michael Riis Jeppesen.
All of
Murska Sobota was shut down for the day, as fans of both clubs came to the derby.
Winners had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Cerchiari - Sunay, Edrevski, Schöpf, Schneiderman - Meibom, Liebers, 育达 (Yuda), Brezovec - Mandel, Savić.
Barça tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Boderskov - Slapar, Drăghiciu, Vörös - Romero, Johnson, Ropoša, Paksuniemi, Bailly - Flinik, Bercot.
The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Barça's
B. Flinik after 14 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead.
H. Johnson fired a shot from distance after 33 minutes, but the long shot couldn't find the net for Barça.
The visitors'
M. Bercot took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 36 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Barça.
After 37 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
A. Bailly to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3.
After 43 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to Barça's
M. Drăghiciu being carried off the pitch and replaced by
S. Andrejaš.
The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Barça, with 73 percent of the ball.
Barça's
H. Johnson made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 59 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line.
Winners had to manage with a reduced squad after 62 minutes, as
D. Brezovec got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action.
In a fantastic display of determination, Barça's
B. Flinik forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down.
The home crowd was not impressed when
M. Bercot came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 71 minutes. Barça were now up 0 - 4.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Barça lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
A. Liebers did everything he could to get one back for his Winners, but keeper
A. Boderskov denied him with a spectacular block.
Winners's
Y. Schneiderman cut towards the middle after 80 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 1 - 4.
Winners's
S. Schöpf was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 83 minutes.
Barça claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 73 percent.
Winners's top performer was clearly
M. Savić.
F. Cerchiari was a disappointment, however.
Most important Barça player was
I. Paksuniemi.
On the other hand,
S. Andrejaš's play was disheartening.
The match ends 1 - 4.
