After 65 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for J. Borgersen who increased Dreamteam's lead to 0 - 3. M. Veau charged down the left and looked sure to score for Manx 76 minutes into the game, but his shot went just wide. It took several tries, but Manx managed to break through on the left after 81 minutes, getting the ball to V. Fontova who easily reduced the lead to make the score 1 - 3. There was concern in the stands when, at the 84 minute mark, Dreamteam's Y. Rakitin hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. The visitors' R. Cismaşu took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 86 minutes into the match. 1 - 4 for Dreamteam. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Dreamteam lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Possession in this half belonged to Dreamteam, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.
