04-07-2012 03.00
7000 spectators had come to
Nan-tou Stadium this cloudy day.
Sebastian Spirea was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Tage Asmussen and
Sören Gustavsson.
Nan-tou had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Yung-Hua - Joong, Myung-Suk, Huai-Yi, Vinh-Thien - Poh-Chung, Hoi-Sang, Long, Cheng-An - Huyquang, Quang-Han.
AmbiVerse decided to use a 5-4-1 set up.
The following players had been chosen: Onyszczuk - 文江 (Wenjiang), 宇國 (Yuguo), 文材 (Wencai), 資楠 (Zinan), 勝朋 (Shengpeng) - Ahokas, 宗偉 (Zongwei), Şoica, 子貴 (Zigui) - 綜宇 (Zongyu).
Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of AmbiVerse.
Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 2 minutes into the match, and
彭. 綜宇 (Zongyu) wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors.
Nan-tou's
P. Cheng-An put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 5 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock.
Nan-tou made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
C. Myung-Suk completely alone with keeper
A. Onyszczuk, who made a spectacular block.
An accurate cross from
莊. 子貴 (Zigui) of AmbiVerse was met with a wonderful glancing header from
彭. 綜宇 (Zongyu), hitting the inside base of the post before nestling into the back of the net for 1 - 2.
Nan-tou's
Z. Quang-Han made a successful breakthrough on the left after 30 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar.
AmbiVerse showed their counterattack skill 31 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with
呂. 勝朋 (Shengpeng) scoring uncontested for 1 - 3.
After this, you could see that the players of AmbiVerse were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
Nan-tou's
P. Cheng-An found himself alone on the left side 32 minutes into the match and laid down a perfect shot - right into the arms of the keeper!
1 - 3 was the halftime score.
Nan-tou had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the AmbiVerse coach let
T. Huschka replace
A. Onyszczuk after 46 minutes.
H. Hoi-Sang challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 52 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it.
A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper
T. Huschka and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for Nan-tou, but
C. Myung-Suk's finish was way too lame.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
田. 文材 (Wencai) got himself booked. The manager of AmbiVerse was not happy.
Possession in this half belonged to Nan-tou, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.
The most dominating Nan-tou player was without a doubt
W. Poh-Chung.
On the other hand,
S. Yung-Hua's play was disheartening.
AmbiVerse's top performer was clearly
T. Huschka.
潘. 資楠 (Zinan) turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 1 - 3.
