Dinamo's S. dos Santos made use of his speed to get free of the defence, but he still couldn't get a shot off 34 minutes into the match. As A. Díaz-Aguado had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Frd. player a red card without batting an eyelid. Dinamo increased their lead after 38 minutes when A. Pardo broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. 0 - 3 was the score after the first half. Dinamo had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

The corner kick from B. Ganogald was powerfully met by the head of J. Pavón to make the score 0 - 4. An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by Dinamo's B. Ganogald put the visitors up 0 - 5 after 52 minutes. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for B. Ganogald. It was obvious that Frd. had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Coming in from the right, Frd. had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 75 minutes, but J. Elias's attempt to finish was easily stopped. The referee showed Dinamo's J. Estadell the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Dinamo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 65 percent of possession.

T. Urwin performed admirably for Frd.. On the other hand, J. Elias's play was disheartening. Dinamo's top performer was clearly B. Ganogald. Y. Jolivel turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
