The visitors didn't give in and, after 82 minutes, A. Häkkilä got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 2 - 2. Banquise had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 86 minutes in when A. Häkkilä came up alone against A. Kostadinov who managed a block. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Banquise, with 57 percent of the ball.

Still tied after 90 minutes, the match continued into extra time. The guests almost went up by a goal after 99 minutes when J. Nowaliński came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. The visiting M. Ovesson was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 103 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 2 - 3 was the score. With that Banquise had won the game in extra time. X. Chavatte performed admirably for Patt. D. Lefebvre turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Banquise player was U. Pati. On the other hand, M. Ligier's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 3.
