(392861980)

04-07-2012 16.30
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 42624 to
Go Park.
Leonardo Manzano was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jaime Tunjano and
Matteo Bicocchi.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Team.
The following players had been chosen: Fazzi - Mano, Liponi, Oliati, Leimer - Littu, van der Heijden, Mák, Curth - Inausti, Marengoni.
Weber decided to use a 4-5-1 set up.
The following players took the field: Shakiba - Le Floch, Klærke, Rüf, Mann - Tungstål, Chastain, Brun, Dyhr, Andreassen - Inurrieta.
Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Team.
After 11 minutes, Team's
A. Littu swiftly ran past
E. Mann and nutmegged the keeper! 1 - 0.
With 19 minutes played, the visitors could have drawn level after
N. Dyhr came through the middle, but his kick went wide.
In a rapid move 34 minutes into the match,
S. Tungstål of Weber lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked
S. Inurrieta who easily hit it home to make it 1 - 1. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy!
Team took the lead 35 minutes into the game by 2 - 1, as
F. Inausti elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar.
Team almost scored after a swift counterattack 40 minutes into the game, but
G. Liponi put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal.
Weber's
S. Inurrieta was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 41 minutes.
Team's
G. Liponi had an excellent opportunity after 42 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles!
2 - 1 was the halftime score.
Weber enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Weber's
B. Chastain was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes.
S. Bentili was given a chance to change things around.
With their counter attack move halted 58 minutes into the game, Team were left with a free kick. The ball is passed straight through to the other end of the penalty area, with hopes for it to reach
C. Leimer. However, he didn't have his wits about him and the ball went out.
Team's
M. Mák got himself booked for a foul.
With 70 minutes played,
F. Inausti could have brought this one home for Team as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
Coming through the middle
S. Inurrieta almost scored the equaliser for Weber after 78 minutes, but
M. Fazzi made an excellent save, tipping the awkwardly curled shot past the post.
With 86 minutes played,
J. Brun came in from the right and could have evened the score, but the defenders successfully repelled the attack by Weber.
Possession in this half belonged to Weber, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.
Team's best player was
D. Marengoni.
On the other hand,
M. Curth's play was disheartening.
Most important Weber player was
S. Inurrieta.
M. Andreassen was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 2 - 1.
