It was an obvious ambition of Goldstream to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. 4 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Goldstream to take the lead after a good cross from the right found G. Mamkaitis alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. F. Iversen had a good opportunity to give Dileris the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. Dileris's A. Gądek refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 29 minutes. What was A. Imperial thinking? That's what everyone wondered when, for no apparent reason, he shot a cross pass over his own penalty area, giving A. Gądek an extra chance, but unfortunately for Dileris, he didn't get the shot right. At 33 minutes played, S. Augereau came in from the right with the intention of giving Goldstream the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Dileris's E. dos Reis after 34 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but V. Carbone showed great heart and had a good game. Goldstream had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. The crowd was on its feet 39 minutes into the match, as Goldstream's R. Arguedas found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 1 - 1 equaliser. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Augereau did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. Goldstream put themselves up 3 - 1 when R. Arguedas broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

The most dominating Goldstream player was without a doubt J. Veiby. On the other hand, J. Gasiorek's play was disheartening. O. Moita Flores performed admirably for Dileris. Y. González turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
