The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 12000 had shown up at fc marji3 for the match. Grigorakis Aivazidis was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Marko Graser and Witold Kusz. marji3ya tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. They fielded: Achrafi - Zaylachi, Bouderbala, Zidani, Rabah - Mernissi, Tassila, Nouri, Waëziza - Bendidouh, Felay.

LFTF started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Lineup: Moubaraki - Sousa, Menge, Giró, Torrio - Bernclau, Klangholt, Durastante, Susiluoto - Zoubir, Othmani.

It was an obvious ambition of LFTF to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. The visitors could have taken the lead from a free kick after 4 minutes, if it wasn't for the jaw-dropping save by S. Achrafi. LFTF's D. Sousa placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but M. Zoubir couldn't finish. 29 minutes in, the unpredictable A. Susiluoto of LFTF turned and curled the ball towards goal, but it flew inches wide of the post, almost taking out a member of the crowd! After 31 minutes, LFTF put themselves up 0 - 1, as G. Durastante finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. A drive down the left side allowed B. Bernclau to get in close and score another goal for LFTF after 33 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2. B. Bernclau received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 38 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The LFTF fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Halftime score was 0 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to LFTF, who controlled the ball 69 percent of the time.

The LFTF coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 46 minutes into the game. A. Susiluoto of LFTF took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 63 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4. By now, the players in LFTF felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. With 70 minutes played, A. Mernissi of marji3ya fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The home keeper was stunned 71 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by H. Menge and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 5. 75 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 6 as M. Zoubir finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. D. Sousa behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 78 minutes as he gave the ball away to S. Rabah. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. The visitors added to their lead 80 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by LFTF's H. Menge slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 7. 80 minutes in, LFTF's H. Menge received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. S. Achrafi was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so marji3ya's A. Berrada had to come off the bench. Players in LFTF heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. With 85 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed D. Sousa of LFTF to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 8. After 86 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for D. Sousa who increased LFTF's lead to 0 - 9. LFTF enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.

marji3ya's top performer was clearly I. Bendidouh. A. Zaylachi was a disappointment, however. G. Durastante performed admirably for LFTF. D. Sousa turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 9.
