The 39725 fans in attendance at
Bela Vista Arena were roasting in the hot sun.
René Raubuch was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Daniel Carles and
Alexandru Mihai.
Vista tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination.
The following players took the field: Fidyk - Bonichini, Belinda, Zaniolo, Sarreira - Kleczka, Zamorano, Röber, Lauda, Schøler - Leppänen.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Moscavide.
The following players had been chosen: Speelman - Badawi, Astra, dos Santos - Čadil, Kruijenaar, Marreira, Capão, Hofmair - Bossaert, Gratsch.
Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Vista.
The visiting
L. Kruijenaar was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 11 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score.
The sun seemed to put
I. Gratsch in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long.
With 28 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
T. Hofmair of Moscavide to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2.
B. Čadil of Moscavide took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 31 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3.
After 33 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
X. Bossaert who increased Moscavide's lead to 0 - 4.
It was 0 - 4 at the break.
Moscavide enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.
Some fine movement on the left led to a Moscavide goal after 51 minutes, making it 0 - 5.
G. Astra was noted down as the scorer.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Moscavide lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
Vista's
S. Zaniolo managed a superb strike from the left after 61 minutes that would have left goalkeeper
I. Speelman without a chance, had it not hit the post.
A drive down the left side allowed
X. Bossaert to get in close and score another goal for Moscavide after 75 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 6.
76 minutes into the game,
Y. Leppänen had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came
C. Lázaro.
Given a free kick in a difficult position after 77 minutes, Moscavide tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish.
With their counter attack move halted 78 minutes into the game, Vista were left with a free kick. The ball is passed straight through to the other end of the penalty area, with hopes for it to reach
E. Bonichini. However, he didn't have his wits about him and the ball went out.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Vista's
O. Zamorano was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 80 minutes.
Z. Czakański was given a chance to change things around.
D. Capão increased Moscavide's lead to 0 - 7 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Moscavide, with 54 percent of the ball.
Most important Vista player was
S. Zaniolo.
C. Lázaro was a disappointment, however.
The most dominating Moscavide player was without a doubt
I. Gratsch.
B. Čadil on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 0 - 7.
