Almed decided to play creatively. It was an obvious ambition of MC to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. R. Dias Paes's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert H. Elejabeitia was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Almed. 1 - 0. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, F. Krzysztofik got himself booked. The manager of MC was not happy. 14 minutes into the game, MC seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to solid. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Almed to 2 - 0 as H. Elejabeitia finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. 24 minutes into the game, MC had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to weak. After 26 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by N. Rey might have resulted in another goal for Almed. However, K. Kuzmanov made a spectacular save. With 37 minutes played, I. Ráo could have brought this one home for Almed as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. L. da Ilha squirmed through their central defence after 43 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Almed enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

The MC players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a solid organisation when the game started again. U. Lapp behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 50 minutes as he gave the ball away to H. Elejabeitia. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. 72 minutes into the game, MC seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. Almed increased the lead as R. Dias Paes struck to make the score 4 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. The players of Almed now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Almed solidified their lead at the 76 minute mark, as H. Elejabeitia dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 5 - 0. By then H. Elejabeitia had scored three goals - a hat trick! The referee showed MC's U. Lapp the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 81 minutes MC's B. Afzal limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. F. Salinas should probably have put his team up another goal after 85 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by K. Kuzmanov kept the visitors in the game. Almed's H. Elejabeitia had an excellent opportunity after 87 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! 87 minutes in, MC appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. Cheers filled the stadium as L. da Ilha broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 0 to Almed. Almed had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

R. Dias Paes performed admirably for Almed. On the other hand, W. Lins Silva's play was disheartening. MC's top performer was clearly W. Nagl. Z. Makuta on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 0.
