Costa coolly slotted it home for a 2 - 1 lead. Cheers filled the stadium as V. Andrade Ferreira broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 1 to Softis. As the game started to slip away for F.C.BARCELONA.B, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. A great save by keeper J. Lanzol after 40 minutes kept the visitors in the game after M. Costa struck from the left with a real cannonball. With their counter attack move halted 41 minutes into the game, F.C.BARCELONA.B were left with a free kick. Softis's R. Hăucă was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - V. Andrade Ferreira managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 4 - 1 after 47 minutes. The players of Softis now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Softis increased the lead as M. Costa struck to make the score 5 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. The rain made it hard for players like B.
