Liotru tactics involved an interesting 5-3-2 combination. Starters: Testino - Amanti, Galardo, Annette, Gallo, Zucchetti - Nave, Icochea, Eriksson - Astro, Piano.

A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Ojcowie. The following players took the field: Pettersen - Bobel, Räisänen, Święty, Garlej - Sycz, Raynov, Kubik, Froeschl - Wojciuch, Mianowski.

For their match strategy, Liotru had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. Ojcowie were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Ojcowie had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 32 minutes, but G. Sycz's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. Ojcowie took the lead after S. Räisänen curved a free kick into the net. 0 - 1 Ojcowie's S. Wojciuch was shown a yellow card after 35 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The home keeper was stunned 38 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by S. Räisänen and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 2. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Ojcowie lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. After 41 minutes, the defensive line of Liotru created a counterattack through the middle that gave J. Eriksson a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Ojcowie seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. Some fine movement on the left led to a Ojcowie goal after 43 minutes, making it 0 - 3. M. Mianowski was noted down as the scorer. Halftime score was 0 - 3. Ojcowie claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

During the break, Ojcowie's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. The crowd gasped as M. Froeschl of Ojcowie was flattened by an opponent after 52 minutes and had to be carried off. G. Honisz came in off the bench. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 56 minutes, Liotru did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, L. Piano was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 3. 70 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 4 as S. Wojciuch finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. After 71 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Ojcowie found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. A marvellous Liotru effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 79 minutes by L. Piano, making the score 2 - 4. It took several tries, but Liotru managed to break through on the left after 85 minutes, getting the ball to R. Astro who easily reduced the lead to make the score 3 - 4. Liotru's P. Amanti was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 86 minutes. Ojcowie enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

Most important Liotru player was J. Eriksson. P. Amanti was a disappointment, however. Ojcowie's best player was S. Pettersen. However, A. Bobel made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 4.
