Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Inglorius-Bastards. Inglorius-Bastards created a good opportunity to score 4 minutes into the match when L. Öhrborg's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. T. Westerling was called on to replace Inglorius-Bastards's B. Biesaga after 31 minutes following a nasty collision. S. Donei looked great 34 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' A. Mohd Rusydi. With 36 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, H. Al-Abir needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. Rejnholdt's goal to make the score 0 - 1 came via a questionable penalty, but E. Virrankoski struck it home without a second thought. Inglorius-Bastards tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Inglorius-Bastards's H. Jörß somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for G. Kotzev, who struck for 1 - 1. With the clock showing 43 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Inglorius-Bastards resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by L. Öhrborg in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. Rejnholdt's C. Pallaro got himself booked for a foul. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Rejnholdt, with 56 percent of the ball.

After 46 minutes, the Rejnholdt coach had a quick word about the tactical set-up and decided to try another approach. After 58 minutes, G. Kotzev came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving Inglorius-Bastards the lead. After 72 minutes Inglorius-Bastards's G. Kotzev limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave O. Halbinger from Rejnholdt a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 78 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Inglorius-Bastards were worse off though, as M. Jović was unable to finish the game and no more substitutes were available! Inglorius-Bastards's J. Arminia swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. After 85 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after K. Holmstrup made it through the middle and struck home to make it 2 - 2. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 86 minutes into the match left Rejnholdt's C. Pallaro completely free to score. 2 - 3 for the visitors. After 87 minutes Rejnholdt's H. Thomas contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Possession in this half belonged to Rejnholdt, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

Most important Inglorius-Bastards player was L. Öhrborg. However, T. Westerling made a disastrous appearance. C. Pallaro performed admirably for Rejnholdt. R. Rose on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 3.
