Martinussen looked great 30 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' C. Tourné. KORPIKLAANI's M. Nunes was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 31 minutes. Halftime score was 0 - 0. FCL had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

51 minutes into the game, V. Atamer had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. FCL's G. Illera gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 65 minutes with a superb strike from the right. Content with how the game was proceeding, the FCL coach let F. Zarbo replace F. Vrisekoop after 80 minutes. M. Mastropietro wanted to play on, but the FCL coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 85 minutes into the game by G. Zamora. Possession in this half belonged to KORPIKLAANI, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

A. Gustavsson performed admirably for KORPIKLAANI. S. Martinussen was a disappointment, however. FCL's best player was J. Stadtrand. C. Tourné turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 1.
