It was obvious that Baikal- were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic. PUB clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. After 7 minutes of play, E. Tzolov gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. B. Nenachovas levelled the score for PUB, making it 1 - 1 on a free kick that went in by way of the right post. Baikal-'s talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. Çokmert from PUB a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 34 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 1 - 1 was the halftime score. PUB had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

R. Obiegło really should have scored when he was chosen by fate to confront a wide open goal following a great play by J. Hebeda after a corner. After 72 minutes, PUB's B. Nenachovas made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 1 - 2. F. Laurent charged down the left and had a wonderful opportunity to score the equaliser for Baikal-, but the shot went well wide of the goal. 80 minutes in, Baikal-'s T. Kolchev received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Given a free kick close to the byline, PUB tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let L. Marčić slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 1 - 3, 81 minutes into the game. Confident in their lead, PUB's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by PUB, with 60 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Baikal- player was without a doubt E. Tzolov. F. Laurent on the other hand, had a terrible day. PUB's top performer was clearly B. Nenachovas. However, D. Dobda made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 3.
