Zarja_B tried to focus their attacks down the middle. Kanonens's R. Herstrand gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 19 minutes with a superb strike from the right. The cannonball from 35 metres by O. Ångkvist of Kanonens was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. With the scoreboard showing that 27 minutes had been played, Kanonens nearly put themselves up another goal after R. Herstrand came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. 28 minutes into the match Kanonens's K. Pillind viciously shoved another player from behind while going for a loose ball and was sent off the pitch with a red card. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kanonens, with 58 percent of the ball.

After 60 minutes, A. Sunyé got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away. With the clock showing 61 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Kanonens resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by R. Nikanorov in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. 74 minutes into the match, Z. Gopane came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. No matter how hard he tried, F. Nunes just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 79 minutes. S. Bengtsson could have put his team up another goal 85 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. The Kanonens free kick 86 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of R. Herstrand, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 2! Kanonens claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

Zarja_B's top performer was clearly T. Andersen. On the other hand, F. Nunes's play was disheartening. M. Johansson performed admirably for Kanonens. O. Paulsson turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
