The Don fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from W. Mattick after 17 minutes, and prevented Don from going up another goal. Some fine movement on the left led to a Don goal after 34 minutes, making it 0 - 3. W. Mattick was noted down as the scorer. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave I. Photong from Don a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 35 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! It was 0 - 3 at the break. Don enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

47 minutes into the match, S. Siebensee came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. With 56 minutes played, S. Siebensee nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Don coach let T. Solares replace J. González Pezuela after 70 minutes. Don's P. Egilsnes made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 72 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. It was showtime for artist S. Stoń who showed off his technical mastery when he rounded H. Fuchssprung and finished with a goal to make the score 1 - 3. The Don players could smell victory in the air. R. Halkeff wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for T. Werndle after 80 minutes. The coach of Don was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 89 minutes, H. Ji Jie came on for P. Egilsnes. Possession in this half belonged to Don, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

Stockstadt's top performer was clearly G. Ipinza. On the other hand, Y. Cohen's play was disheartening. Don's best player was S. Siebensee. However, T. Solares made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 3.
