The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 30000 had shown up at O-Town-City Arena for the match. Jusid dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. A bit later, United's H. Deloffre easily reduced the lead to 2 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. 2 - 1 was the score after the first half. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

48 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as U. Rizzioli broke through, making the score 3 - 1 for O-Town-City. United's A. Spanovics got himself booked for a foul. S. Villodas was called on to replace O-Town-City's L. Kornfeld after 55 minutes following a nasty collision. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. Jusid from O-Town-City a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 68 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 85 minutes into the game O-Town-City managed a counterattack, but J. Jurić took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. United had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

O-Town-City's best player was U. Rizzioli. On the other hand, A. Cutelo's play was disheartening. Most important United player was F. Fricke. L. Seigle was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
