Drajsarji 2 - 3 Lillio
(393019953)

10-07-2012 19.30
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 30000 at
El Drajsarji Madrigal today.
Alhaji Botsio was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Stefan Vâlcu and
Patrick Westhausen.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Drajsarji.
The following players took the field: Lukk - do Adro, Galván, Loire - Branten, Kuyper, Cervera, van der Laan, Salovainio - Åkesson, Bucak.
Lillio had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Jackman - Gabrielsson, Kaker, Borges Lima - Bruno, Heyking, Lüers, Felc, Kohl - Seixeiro, Castellroig.
Lillio were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks.
Lillio's
J. Lüers got himself booked for a foul.
A scuffle developed as players from both sides clashed following a tussle in the centre of the field 12 minutes into the match. After regaining order and consulting his linesman, the referee called Lillio's
L. Felc to one side and produced a red card for the player.
Unfortunately for Drajsarji,
I. Salovainio was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field.
J. Cardoso replaced him.
A. Åkesson caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 14 minutes. This gave Drajsarji the 1 - 0 lead.
Drajsarji's
A. Åkesson saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 15 minutes.
After 16 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
G. van der Laan might have resulted in another goal for Drajsarji. However,
B. Jackman made a spectacular save.
1 - 0 was the halftime score.
Drajsarji had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.
Lillio needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes
T. Gabrielsson made way for
A. Žinic.
The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Lillio's coach gave
A. Katzler the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
E. Seixeiro reluctantly left the field.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Lillio's
P. Kohl was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes.
F. Jerman was given a chance to change things around.
J. Cardoso of Drajsarji seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by
A. Åkesson.
Confident in their lead, Drajsarji's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
Lillio managed to reduce the score to 2 - 1 as
H. Bruno finished off a well-played combination from the left, easily carving through the defence.
A really bad tackle inside the penalty area 83 minutes into the match gave the referee no other choice but to award the visiting Lillio a penalty.
Á. Borges Lima knocked it home. 2 - 2
Possession in this half belonged to Drajsarji, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.
Still tied after 90 minutes, the match continued into extra time.
The visiting
A. Katzler was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 92 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 2 - 3 was the score.
Extra time over, Lillio were the victors!
G. Lukk performed admirably for Drajsarji.
However,
M. Kuyper made a disastrous appearance.
Lillio's top performer was clearly
A. Katzler.
H. Bruno turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 2 - 3.
