Frid was, after 40 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper F. Moura made the save. Good work by the Jumbon defensive line after 41 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found K. Jacobsen alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Puistokemistit had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

P. Tasies of Jumbon seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by T. Davidsson. The most controversial moment of the game was likely the penalty given after 59 minutes. Puistokemistit's J. Frid kept his concentration, despite the upset crowd, and calmly put the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 2. Puistokemistit came close to extending their lead as J. von Moos delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 64 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. K. Jacobsen of Jumbon was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The visitors added to their lead 69 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Puistokemistit's J. Frid slid just past the home keeper. 1 - 3. The visitors' J. von Moos took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 70 minutes into the match. 1 - 4 for Puistokemistit. Puistokemistit's K. Koval showed his experience after 74 minutes, as he expertly set himself up to take advantage of a rebound off the crossbar, but his shot was tipped harmlessly out of the way. Puistokemistit enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.
