Kolari broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. Some fine movement on the left led to a Alistajat goal after 27 minutes, making it 0 - 3. K. Wille was noted down as the scorer. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, K. Wille would have put Alistajat up another goal 36 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Alistajat claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

The referee signalled a penalty 47 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. D. Melnichuk knocked it home to make the score 0 - 4. After this, you could see that the players of Alistajat were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. After 63 minutes Kelperit's S. Parviainen limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Kelperit almost scored after a swift counterattack 69 minutes into the game, but H. Hartmann-Röhrer put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. The referee showed Alistajat's K. Wille the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Unfortunately for Kelperit, S. Parviainen was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. E. Jantunen replaced him. With 83 minutes played, Alistajat put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was T. Moyen. With 84 minutes played, A. Yngvesson nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Alistajat had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

Kelperit's best player was I. Lauria. However, E. Jantunen made a disastrous appearance. E. Kolari performed admirably for Alistajat. On the other hand, V. Piilola's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 5.
