Tai-pei 1 - 7 Sivilisers
(393025700)

11-07-2012 03.00
The 7000 fans in attendance at
Tai-pei Stadium were roasting in the hot sun.
Mats Beckmo was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Giuseppe Gualano and
Giorgio Vidotto.
Tai-pei tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Wei-Jiann - Kai-Chin, Chang-Yan, Chai-Hing, King-Yeung - Huyquang, Mei-Kao, Zhen-Bang, Hong-Wen - Hoai-Nam, Sun-Taji.
Sivilisers started off with a 3-4-3 lineup.
They fielded: Gaulsattler - 宏政 (Hongzheng), 昉榮 (Fangrong), Camañes - Soriano, Ghayeghran, Cesqui, Yngvesson - Dyakov, Ferrighini, Finazzi.
After 5 minutes, Sivilisers's
M. Finazzi made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1.
F. Ghayeghran still has a lot to learn. For instance, he should know not to make half-hearted passes in front of
M. Zhen-Bang, who easily scored for Tai-pei, making it 1 - 1.
After 36 minutes, Sivilisers sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
N. Cesqui, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 2.
Some fine movement on the left led to a Sivilisers goal after 37 minutes, making it 1 - 3.
R. Yngvesson was noted down as the scorer.
1 - 3 was the halftime score.
Sivilisers claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.
With 51 minutes played, Sivilisers put themselves up 1 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
L. Dyakov.
54 minutes in, Sivilisers's
趙. 昉榮 (Fangrong) received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
55 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 5 as
F. Ghayeghran finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Sivilisers lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
L. Dyakov received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 59 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 6. The Sivilisers fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
After 80 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
梁. 宏政 (Hongzheng) a chance to increase the lead for Sivilisers, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 7.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
D. Ferrighini from Sivilisers a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 81 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Sivilisers enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.
Tai-pei's top performer was clearly
M. Zhen-Bang.
B. Wei-Jiann was a disappointment, however.
M. Camañes performed admirably for Sivilisers.
On the other hand,
R. Yngvesson's play was disheartening.
The match ends 1 - 7.
