Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 69700 to
Kuta Rock City "Superman is Dead".
Vital Kantz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Axel Schuster-Kattner and
Detmer Grondman.
K-Rockers had chosen a strategic 5-4-1 formation.
They fielded: Velaz de Cabrera - De biagi, De La Puente, von Schwanenflug, Behrends-Redlich, De Fazio - Beyer, Kroes, Repo-Nikkanen, Magrão - Martínez de Porras.
Kemayoran started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
Starters: Mygashko - Lenaerts, Banyuls, Bröschke - Parsi, Ysbrandy, Ionescu, Pica, den Adel - Cuccuru, Hromádka.
K-Rockers immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents.
Kemayoran saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
The terraces were silenced after 6 minutes when Kemayoran's
V. Hromádka put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right.
The crowd was on its feet 17 minutes into the match, as K-Rockers's
E. Behrends-Redlich found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 1 - 1 equaliser.
19 minutes in, K-Rockers's
E. Behrends-Redlich received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
Unfortunately for Kemayoran,
T. Bröschke was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field.
K. Bredmo replaced him.
Kemayoran were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings.
Halftime score was 1 - 1.
K-Rockers enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.
K-Rockers made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
E. Magrão completely alone with keeper
V. Mygashko, who made a spectacular block.
M. Parsi's tried to storm through the defence after 73 minutes, but
C. De Fazio was just too fast to shake off and the rest of the defence got back to cover.
K-Rockers's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle.
As the 80 minute mark approached, the K-Rockers coach decided it was time for a substitution.
C. De Fazio reluctantly made way for
T. Niemeyer-Wasserer on the pitch.
80 minutes into the game, K-Rockers wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
M. De La Puente gave
S. Bukit a quick hug as he left the field.
After 80 minutes, the K-Rockers coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving
E. De biagi off the field.
R. D'Agostino took his place.
Players in Kemayoran heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by K-Rockers, with 57 percent of the ball.
With the scores being level after 90 minutes, the match went into extra time.
V. Hromádka of Kemayoran seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 2 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by
M. Parsi.
What a dramatic win for Kemayoran!
P. Martínez de Porras performed admirably for K-Rockers.
However,
R. D'Agostino made a disastrous appearance.
Kemayoran's top performer was clearly
I. den Adel.
On the other hand,
V. Mygashko's play was disheartening.
