After 37 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for A. Johansson who increased STEMCELLS's lead to 1 - 5. By then A. Johansson had scored three goals - a hat trick! The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 5. Possession in this half belonged to STEMCELLS, who controlled the ball 74 percent of the time.

STEMCELLS increased their lead after 53 minutes when F. Reyes broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 6, much to the home crowd's dismay. After 54 minutes, A. Johansson sent the corner kick right to F. Unzueta who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1 - 7! A. Johansson received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 58 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 8. The STEMCELLS fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 67 minutes, STEMCELLS's A. Johansson burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 9. With 76 minutes played, A. Picciano was very close to reducing the score for chamartin with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. With 78 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed I. García of STEMCELLS to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 10. After 80 minutes STEMCELLS's A. Johansson limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. STEMCELLS had most of the ball, with 74 percent of possession.

chamartin's best player was D. Vasilev. L. Naves was a disappointment, however. Most important STEMCELLS player was A. Queirón. On the other hand, F. Unzueta's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 10.
